View Sign & Light, a leading commercial sign company that has been creating high-quality, innovative sign work in the Kansas City Metro and throughout the Midwest since 2011, is looking for a full-time, experienced Sign Installer.

Do you have a strong mechanical aptitude, a professional work ethic, excellent time management skills, a clean motor vehicle record and the ability to improvise and solve problems on the spot? If so, you might be a good fit for our team.

Our growing company offers a 4-day workweek, a relaxed and positive work environment and the latest equipment including a 2020 Altec LS49 Aerial Lift which will be the main work platform. If you’re self-motivated and want to be an integral member of a team that values your input, let’s talk!

Job Duties will include:

Professionally install signs, including channel letters/cabinet/pole/vinyl and more
Light electrical work and wiring
Site surveys
Stocking and maintaining our vehicles
Shop and warehouse organization
… and a variety of other projects that arise!

Qualifications:

Must be able to stand for long periods, work outdoors in all types of weather, lift up to 80 lbs, and work at varying heights.
Experience working with your hands, and a good understanding of measuring and cutting materials to exact job specifications.
General knowledge of power tool safety and usage.
Ability to work independently.
U.S. work authorization and valid driver’s license with a clean record required.
Electrical, welding and/or sign installation experience a plus.
